Stamina
Downtime on the K’laxi Starbase, and Kelly and Evan wheel their stationary exercise bikes out into the common area and start a ride. If they're not going to be moving anyway, they might as well have a more interesting view than the wall of the exercise room. Before their commission, they both loved the outdoors, and found friendship in trying to keep their two wheeled skills.
The bikes large wheels that hum and whirr as they pedal. After a short warm up, they both get into the rhythm of motion, enjoying the feeling of their muscles being used. To help with overheating, Evan set up a fan to circulate air on them. Evan was used to short rides, but Kelly wanted him to build stamina. She was even working out how to connect a sensorium so they could ride "outside." For it to be worthwhile, she wanted a long ride, so she was trying to get him to be able to finish a century - a ride of one hundred miles (an obsolete form of measurement).
After a few moments, some K'laxi stop and watch them as they work out. Kelly and Evan, heads down as they pedal, don't seem to notice.
After half an hour or so of pedaling Evan lifted his head and looked at Kelly. “You know what I’m sick of?”
Kelly looked up from her bike. “The whole Deathworlder thing?”
Evan nodded emphatically. “Yes! I don’t think it’s fair that everyone says Earth is a Deathworld. It implies that we’re some kind of strange being. It’s othering!” Evan was gesturing with his water bottle as he spoke. The K'laxi watching were focused on the bottle being swung around, seemingly entranced by the droplets of water that Evan was flinging around.
Kelly leaned up off the handlebars, but kept pedaling. She started counting things on her fingers. “There’s plenty of other worlds that have storms, plenty of other sapient peoples that are strong, lots of places with large moons, plenty of other places like Earth.”
“Exactly! They are working so hard to fit us into a stereotype, and then they don’t have to learn about us as individuals.” Evan's water bottle was just leaking now, and droplets increased. Kelly blinked when drops hit her face. One of the K'laxi took a step back.
As they talked, the crowd grew. Deep in concentration on their ride, they didn't notice the attention that they have garnered. A Gren in the back gestured with his mouthparts, and two others joined him. A small group of Innari fluffed their feathers in agitation as they watched the humans continue to spin. Even a few humans stood on the sidelines of the crowd and grinned. They wanted to see what the others would do.
Evan and Kelly pedaled in silence for a while longer until Pen couldn't stand it any longer. His friends nudged him and whispered encouragement for him to finally speak up. “You realize you’re having this conversation, on a K’laxi Starbase, while pedaling your excise bicycles at-" He looked over at a readout on Kelly' bike "-180 watts for at least one standard hour now?”
Even looked surprised. “We’re doing a century!”
"That's when you ride continuously for 160 kilometers or so." Kelly sounded matter of fact as she reached down and took a sip from her own water bottle.
One of the Innari squawked, “You’re not even breathing heavy!” The others around them bobbed their heads in agreement.
Kelly looked over at the Innari who spoke up. When they locked eyes, the Innari looked down, their feathers flat, embarrassed. “You know what? They're right, Evan. Time to step it up.”
As Evan grinned and pedaled harder, he looked up and finally noticed the crowd that had gathered. There were maybe 10 or 12 people watching the two humans pedal without going anywhere. Some in the back were having quiet wagers about how long they could go on. A human was collecting the bets, not even trying to hide her smile.
The murmurs of the crowd finally got the better of Kelly. "Just what... are you all... doing here?" Kelly panted.
"Um.. just watching you pedal?" A young K'laxi in the front offered and took a nervous step back.
"I can see that, but why?"
"You're riding so much and you aren't even tired!" Another in the back added.
Nods and noises from assent from the crowd. They watched, fascinated as the human's active cooling started kicking in and they both developed a sheen of... liquid on their skin. They called it sweating. The K'laxi called it weird. The Innari called it disgusting.
A Gren on the side of the crowd joined in. "Yeah! How long can you go? I've got 30 stars with Mel'itar that says you can't go the full 160 kilometers without stopping."
A Sefigan near the front frowned and looked like he was having a conversation with his translator. “My translator says a century is 100, but you’re doing 160km?”
Evan sighed. “160 kilometers is 100 miles. That’s the century”
"What's a mile?" A K'laxi child from the crowd interrupted. Sounds of assent from the crowd.
"Old measurement. We don't use it anymore." Kelly finally started to sound like she was having difficultly speaking while she was exerting herself, a good while after Evan started breathing heavily.
The same Innari that spoke up earlier - Soft Autumn Breeze - stared at them out of one eye, and then the other. "You're pedaling the equivalent of one hundred sixty kilometers In one session?” It sounded like they were amazed in addition to being frustrated. Soft worked with Evan in the greenhouse, but had no idea he did... this in his spare time. It was perplexing. All this work and effort for no reason?
“Yeah” Kelly said between breaths “doesn’t count if you stop and take a break.”
Evan used his nearly empty water bottle to point at the Innari. "You're making it sound weird Soft, it's not weird."
"Evan, it is weird." Soft said, emphatically. "What you're doing is weird. You're... pretending to ride a two wheeled sapient powered conveyance on a starbase for an unreasonably long distance without stopping. If I tried that - even if you built one of those... things that fit my leg geometry, I'd collapse and die within two standard hours."
"Soft, I am riding it, it's not pretending." Evan countered.
"We're not going anywhere though, maybe that's what he means." Kelly said.
Evan shrugged. "Well, he should have said that."
By now, the crowd had started to argue about how long each species could last riding a bike. Most agreed that the humans would out-ride them full stop, but both the Gren and the Sefigans felt they could give a real challenge... for the first few hours at least. One of the humans in the crowd started taking measurements, and was designing a bike that could be printed for other species to ride. After a while a whole spin class was being set up.
Soft opened his mouth and clacked shut it again. His feathers fluttered in frustration, and he sighed dramatically. He turned around and walked away from the crowd. “Deathworlders” he muttered.
"Hey Soft, don't use that word, remember the training? The humans find it hurtful." Another Innari said as he walked by.
"Argh!" Soft stomped away as the noise of the crowd dissipated.

it’s wild to me the way a lot of skinny people think weight works like they really genuinely believe that fat people could only be the size they are and continue to exist at that size because they eat “too much” and exercise “too little” and that losing weight is a straight forward process.
like, i started a job last spring that meant i went from getting very little physical activity to typically walking 5-7 miles a day on uneven terrain, carrying shit. My eating habits have remained more or less consistent.
I have not lost weight. My proportions have remained more or less the same. My clothes fit me about the same. I think any fat person would not find this particularly surprising but isn’t calories in calories out the gospel people constantly preach? you’d think dramatically and consistently increasing my physical activity would accomplish this but it obviously didn’t. I am not complaining, changing the size or shape of my body is not a goal of mine, but it’s notable that the actions the medical institutions endorse as ways to achieve that sure don’t actually work.
but while my body has not visibly changed, it’s definitely been great for my health! my mood and energy are significantly better. My resting heart rate dropped by ~10 bpm. I have stronger legs and better stamina. But I do not think anyone would look at me and think of me as someone who lives an “active lifestyle” despite the fact that i do. it’s amazing and depressing to me how many people have bought into the complete lie that you can judge health from appearances and the myth that fat people just lack discipline or someshit

i really do love rune factory's ridiculous skills. i think it's kind of genius actually even though we like to make jokes about there being a "walking" skill and an "eating" skill
i like the eating one especially bc what it does in game is every skill level you raise increases your RP and HP, as well as some other misc things depending on the skill. if your character sleeps every night (skill up!), eats every day (skill up!), and farms/exercises (skill up!), their general stamina and health also increases. it turns "taking good care of yourself" into a game mechanic with actual rewards.
this has tangible benefits too like in the beginning of the game you lose a lot of RP doing basic tasks. the more you take care of your character, the more complex things you can accomplish - like dishes. which then come with their own unique buffs like oven dishes buffing your vitality. which, these things then also apply to party members when you give them dishes. iirc they even get special stat bonuses for dishes they like?
it all makes the actual rpg part of it feel blended into the farming sim aspect of it, and thats something that i feel is lacking in stardew valley and stardew valley-likes, bc they just sort of graft on a simplistic combat style onto a farming sim. and thats one of the reasons i really wish people would play rune factory and like really study how its mechanics work, bc they really do work so well for a farming sim/rpg hybrid. and also i like it lol

Kinda a general sex ed question i guess, but what are some exercises you can do to be better at sex? Obviously i dont expect this will be able to make me last longer or anything but sex is a skill and honestly i just like training that skill lol
Im mostly just curious, as ive been working out for a while now and have noticed i have much more stamina and range of motion in the bed room (which makes sense cus a good workout regiment does train your body to just do that)
I know that lunges hip trusts and squats probably all help cus those are muscles you uae during sex the most. But what else is there if any? Keagles Can make sex better right?
I have a penis, but honestly if there is a diffrence in exercise per genitals id love to hear both!

this is simply not how this works; there is no 1:1 exercise that makes you better at fucking. you can identify parts of your body you've like to strengthen and increase endurance in and exercise them accordingly, as you would for any other activity, but there's no workout regime that's guaranteed to make you "good at sex", not least of all because "good at sex" is a term that means different things to everyone.
my only note is that kegels are primarily intended to help people with urinary incontinence strengthen their bladder muscles, and the amount of kegels a person with a healthy bladder would need to do to feel a meaningful difference is extremely high.

Cycle syncing is when we match our menstrual cycle to our health lifestyle, such as nutrition and exercise. By using your menstrual cycle as a guide of your health throughout, you become in tune of your hormonal needs
Our menstrual cycle has 3 distinct phases excluding your period, which occur over a month.
Follicular(menstruation happens in this phase). Lasts for 6-14 days. Estrogen and progesterone are increasing.
Ovulatory. Lasts for 15-17 days. Estrogen is at its peak, testosterone and progesterone are increasing.
Luteal. Lasts for 18-28 days. Estrogen and progesterone are high, but if the egg stays unfertilised, the hormones decrease and the cycle repeats.
EXERCISE
Menstrual/Follicular
Your hormones are at its lowest, so light exercise and cardio is better suited for your stamina here. Yoga, walking, stretching, jogging
Ovulation
Hormones are increasing, so high intensity exercises are suited for this phase as your energy is higher. gym, cycling, skip rope, running, HIIT
Luteal
As your body prepares itself for another cycle, energy may be low, so light or moderate exercise is best. Pilates, ab exercises, any strength training
NUTRITION
Menstrual/follicular
Your Estrogen will begin to increase in this stage. Drink warm beverages to help with cramps. Despite your cravings, limit fatty/oily foods, caffeine and watch your sodium intake. Eat foods that help with metabolising your estrogen.

Ovulation
Your estrogen is the highest so opt for foods that support your liver, protect you from environmental toxins(as they can impact your hormones) and are anti-inflammatory.

Luteal
Estrogen and progesterone are high, but will begin to decrease. Magnesium rich foods to help fight fatigue, and foods that help with serotonin are best.
Leafy greens, quinoa, buckwheat, dark chocolate, spinach, pumpkin seeds, sweet potatoes, beans, avocado
This is the phase when your cycle is beginning to repeat, so you want to ensure that your diet is optimal. Avoid caffeinated drinks, sugar, deep fried foods and high amounts of dairy.
To start implementing these changes to your lifestyle, track your cycle and begin to identify how long each phase lasts for. Pay attention to how your body responds to each phase.

What's this? Well, first you need some context regarding my Dandy's World OC's lore.
So, basically, her lore is I die and get reincarnated as a Toon with no direct memories of my human life. She's a Toon created before any of the other Toons with the concept she'll be Dandy's best friend in the show. However, they decided she was too similar to Dandy and was scrapped, being replaced by Astro. She had no hard feelings as she was made to help out the employees and transfer items and such.
About two months after she was created, the idea for her to completely replace Dandy was brought up.
In canon, this idea was scrapped.
In this AU however, they decided to go through with it, essentially creating a whole new show.
This show is Endri's World. It's aimed for kids, like the original Dandy's World, and is focused on Endri and all of her friends!
Let's start off with the Main Toons in this AU (excluding Holiday Toons), before we talk about how gameplay would work.

Endri is the main character in this show. She's the one with her name on the title card and thus the most important.
Due to the fact she was created before she became the main character, her design couldn't be altered too much from her original form. They just gave her a bow and a flower in her tail and called it good.
She was designed to be a character most kids could relate to, clearly having flaws of anxiety and worrying a lot. She wouldn't be perfect, but was the perfect character to learn lessons and help kids learn how to better themselves!
She has several quirks and the fact she accidentally had ADHD and autism simply made her the perfect character for neurodivergent kids to relate to and learn it's okay to be different and you know what'll make you happy better than anyone else can!
Unfortunately, if this were to be a game, it wouldn't be possible to play as her unless you were a dev. Like Dandy, however, she'd have 5 star stats all around the board.
You can get her Trinket simply by grabbing an item from her storage 1000 times, due to the fact she doesn't have a Twisted state (that anyone except her knows about).
Trinket:
Doodle-Filled Notebook: Highlights all items on the floor every 10 seconds in a match (excludes capsules and tapes).
This Trinket is a reflection of Endri's role if this was a game. You'll get more elaboration later.

Rather than Astro being Endri's best friend, it was decided Shrimpo would be after the Toons became close friends in the real world.
Shrimpo is a redeemed bully in this AU, having learnt his lesson and- while still screaming about how he hates things- is much less prone to violence.
He's a loud, short-tempered Toon who's the main one learning lessons in the episodes, but he remains an ultimately good figure who teaches kids everyone can change for the better and to always stand up for themselves!
Since he's a main, he'd have two hearts. However, unlike his canon counterpart, his stats and abilities are much more friendly for players.

Due to his competitive nature, he spent a lot of time exercising and running around, giving him high movement and stamina stats. Due to his loud nature, his stealth is lower. And for the other stats? Idk I just thought they fit him.

BACK OFF! (Active) - This Toon throws a punch at a Twisted, stunning them for 5 seconds (excludes Lethal Twisteds). Has a cooldown of 100.
I HATE TWISTEDS! (Passive) - All Twisteds on this floor will be highlighted for this Toon for the first ten seconds after the elevator opens.
Honestly guys, of course Shrimpo would have a stun ability. Have you seen the guy? And his passive is just to make the lives of distractors and for people who need to know what Twisteds are on a floor.
Trinket:
Friendship Locket: Decreases stealth by 25% but increases movement speed by 50%
Basically I took Shrimpo's brick, made it good for distractors, and gave it story impact as a locket that holds Shrimpo's favorite moment, eternally on his person.

Glisten replaces Vee in this AU. I also made him more slay.
He's close with Endri, though is usually busy running his gameshow (it has several differences from the canon Vee's gameshow) and unfortunately can't hang out with her all the time. However, he always takes the time to help Endri touch up on her makeup.
He's still maintaining his 'perfect' persona, but is much more flashy and performative, with Brightney and Vee as his assistants. He teaches kids how to be more confident and to take care of themselves.
As a main, he has two hearts. He's also going to be designed with an extractor design in mind.

I decided to take his original stats and add that extra star to skill check as I thought it'd fit him well. Since he's so flashy, naturally his stealth would be low.
Abilities:
Reflection (Active) - This Toon travels through a mirror, instantly teleporting to a targetted Toon or machine (regardless of completion), regardless of line of sigh and inflicts Confused III on himself for 5 seconds. Has a cooldown of 100.
Perfectionistic (Passive) - This Toon manages to avoid alerting nearby Twisteds whenever he misses a Skill Check.
I just took Glisten's canon ability and just added a second ability that takes Blot's trinket and makes it a passive (Blot does get edits in this AU, just as all Toons do).
Trinket:
Makeup Set: Increases stealth when extracting from machines by 100%
I replaced Glisten's original trinket (why would a mirror have a mirror? He already had one in his room) with a makeup set. I also changed what it does to help extractors more, teehee.

Rather than Shelly being a main, it's Tisha instead (this choice caused me physical pain, just so you know). Tisha differs from the other Mains in this AU, as in Endri's canon AU Endri is closer with Shelly than she is with Tisha.
However, in this AU Tisha is the main Toon rather than Shelly, due to the fact test audiences with Shelly didn't end up well for her...
Tisha is similar in personality, but is calmer and takes up the role as the 'mom' friend. She teaches kids about cleanliness and to take care of their surroundings, especially the ones they live in!
As a main, she has two hearts. She's also designed to be more of a support Toon.

I took her original stats and added that extra star to her movement speed so she can have a 5-star stat. I made that stat movement speed because it's only fair to assume she runs around cleaning things.
Abilities:
Tidy Up! (Active) - This Toon sweeps the ground and increases the movement speed and stamina regeneration of all Toons around her (plus herself) by 25%. Has a cooldown of 50.
Clean Freak (Passive) - This Toon recovers 25 stamina whenever she picks up an item or tapes (excludes capsules).
I just decided to take and boost Tisha's original ability plus make her passive her trinket as I go and make her trinket better cutely, mwehehe.
Trinket:
Feather Duster - Increases stamina and stamina regeneration by 50%
I just took the concept of Astro's trinket, made it better, and gave it to Tisha. Why? Why not?

Of course Endri has a pet rock! But instead of it being Pebble, it's Geo!
Geo was designed as a companion to Endri, originally being created as Pebble but changed to a geode in particular to fit Endri's draconic appearance better. (The reason his crystal interior is visible in his tail is because he once got so excited he wacked his tail into a counter and chipped his tail.)
Geo is a happy and friendly little guy, being a wonderful pet rock despite his slightly destructive tendancies. He's just there for the kids to be happy!
As a main, he has two hearts. He's also designed with a distractor concept in mind.

I gave him a higher stamina than movement speed as I just feel like it suits him well as both Tisha and Shrimpo have high movement speed, and I don't wanna make three of the mains have 5-star movement speed.
Abilities:
Speak! (Active) - This Toon lets out a loud bark, drastically decreases stealth by -40 and alerting any Twisteds to his location. Has a cooldown of 60.
Good Boy (Passive) - This Toon, due to his small size, can avoid being hit by a Twisted easier.
I changed Geo's passive to give him a tiny hitbox to make life for those who use him to distract easier, teehee!
Trinket:
Rainbow Collar - Increases walk and run speed by 15%
I took the Running Shoes and made them exponentially better. Yippee!

Cosmo is the main in this, rather than Sprout. They just thought a cake roll embodied baking better than a strawberry (don't worry, Sprout is still a Toon on the show!).
Cosmo, despite his more sensitive nature, is still a polite and almost stern figure, making sweet treats for all his friends. He's always willing to try cooking and baking new things, however. He helps kids learn how to cook and new things and always share!
As a main, he has two hearts. Also I hate his pitiful skill check and thus fixed it, and he's a healer.
Skill Check: ☆☆☆☆☆
Movement Speed: ☆☆☆
Stamina: ☆☆
Stealth: ☆☆☆☆
Extraction Speed: ☆☆
I hate his canon skill check. Never again. He gets a 5-star skill check and we are all dealing with it.
Abilities:
Sharing is Caring (Active) - This Toon consumes 100 tapes to heal another Toon. Has a cooldown of 60.
Generous (Passive) - This Toon has tapes highlighted for him every 10 seconds during matches.
Basically, I gave Cosmo Sprout's ability and gave him a passive so tapes are easy to go gather. Teehee.
Trinket:
Sweet Charm - Increases speed by 10% for 10 seconds whenever ability, Active or Passive.
I just took the Sweet Charm and made it helpful for Toons who would have lower movement speed or for Cosmo to run around and snatch tapes.

Okay! Now onto how the gameplay concept!
Essentially, the main concept is similar. Toons still need to go down the floors, doing machines and avoiding Twisteds. What really changes is the shop in the elevator.

Endri runs a supply shop, where she doesn't take any tapes and just hands out items she finds on the lower floors she searches on for items. However, she has a limited number of each item and will carry less of rarer items.
As the number of floors you survive increases, Endri will start finding rarer items and start offering more of said rarer items.
However, there's still an incentive to collect tapes, due to a certain flower having a chance to spawn on floors and wanting tapes in exchange for some items, and getting quite pissy if you ignore or don't buy from him...
Oh, also, just to add, yeah the Toons and Twisteds are yandere for Endri. (She can never be free.) Plus, this story concept could work similarly for if Endri was instead the MC from my yandere Dandy's World AUs, hehe.

★ Fashion: I like to put together outfits and create my own clothes and accessories. I have a lot of fun just taking pictures of outfits and creating personal collages.
★ Cooking: learn more recipes, make my own, save money and make delicious (and easy) home cooked meals! I have improved a lot these last 4 months. I want to keep improving and/or maintain what I have learned.
★ Tetris: I want to get better at tetris, get 6000 rank on Tetris effect: connected

★ Exercise: 5 min a day is better than nothing. Tone tummy and increase stamina.
★ Stretching: do splits, also i want to touch my head to my knees
★ Plant care: i want to own more plants and keep them alive.
★ Makeup: I love the artistry of makeup. It is like drawing on your face. I want to learn it so I can incorporate it with my outfits.
★ Learn language: I want to improve chinese and japanese (i get tired reading subtitles on anime so understanding more would be great)
★ Reading: fiction, nonfiction, poetry, physical books, online, etc. Read more, even if it is 1 page. Read before bed or in afternoon under the sun <3

REMINDERS
★ Its ok to do nothing. Take a day or 2 or 3 if you need off.
★ sometimes, something that brought us joy no longer does (change). don't force yourself to do anything that no longer brings you joy bc it used to, acknowledge and move on. God may have something even greater planned for you.
★ self love always. always make sure you are taken care of first, mentally and physically. If you get absorbed into something and notice you arent taking care of yourself, gently pull yourself out, with love.
